Treasure Hunters: A Kingdom of Florida Adventure now available
WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, October 1, 2025 - On Wednesday, the first episode of Treasure Hunters: A Kingdom of Florida Adventure was released. Treasure Hunters is creator Taylor Thomas Smythe’s new fiction podcast, an audio drama set in the world of his award-winning Kingdom of Florida fantasy series. The scripted audio adventure consists of five episodes, which will be released weekly on all major podcast platforms.

The first installment in Smythe’s seven-book Kingdom of Florida middle-grade fantasy series—The Golden Alligator—was chosen as the 2021 winner of a silver medal in the Florida Authors and Publishers Association President's Book Awards and as a finalist in the National Indie Excellence Awards. In 2023, the Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY Awards) named Smythe’s Goldie: A Magic City Wonders Novel the winner of the gold medal in the Southeast - Best Regional Fiction category.
